We are now looking to recruit a Product Manager to join our Product Management and Technical Support Team.

The Role

The role involves Joint responsibility for key Product Development strategy, technical support and activity for Grassland Agro within the Product Management and Technical Support Team and will be focussed on the Speciality Business and Product range with the following responsibilities:

· Technical Development of Product Range and Product Positioning in the Market place

· Development and Communication of Grassland AGRO brands at company and product levels

· Developing and Leading Marketing Campaigns

· Technical Training and Support of Field Sales and Telesales Team

The Person:

· A Recognised agricultural qualification (Master’s or PHD) with post-qualification experience in an agricultural sales and/or marketing role is essential.

· Track record of high performance and target achievement in previous role(s).

· High level of technical ability across a wide range of agricultural enterprises, production and farming systems.

· A high level of understanding and competency in the use of modern IT resources, including website, social media and other communication tools.

· Fully self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative to tight deadlines.

· Excellent problem-solving skills plus the ability to seek solutions to overcome business challenges and to recognise and harness opportunities.

· Strong people management and communications skills, including the ability to positively influence colleagues to achieve results.

· A positive mental attitude to business challenges and a ‘can-do’ approach.

· A strong commercial focus and ability and motivation to succeed in the market place with high value products.

· A keen team player with ability to work with and win support of colleagues

Technical Sales Advisor: Cavan/Monaghan region

We are now looking to recruit Technical Sales Advisors in the Cavan/Monaghan region 

The Role 

  • Advice and Sale of our unique enhanced/specialty product range in soil conditioning, fertilization and mineral supplements direct to farmers through the local Co Ops and Merchants. 
  • Developing relationships and working closely with local Co Ops and Merchants. 

The Person: 

  • Commercial knowledge, sales and advisory skills experience 
  • From a farming back-ground with excellent knowledge of farming / possess a qualification relevant to our industry. 
  • Willing to work hard to succeed in a rapidly changing market-place 
  • Technically minded with an ability to create and close sales opportunities 
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a challenging direct sales environment 
  • Full drivers license
